GiGi brought Alex a special cake from a bakery in Amarillo. So, we had two cakes--one for home and one for the party. Now Alex thinks this is the norm and a great tradition ;)
We had Alex's 5th birthday party at the Gymnastics Sport Center. The theme was superheros, specifically Spiderman, Superman, and Batman. Last year, Gary, Alex, & I all wore Spiderman shirts to his party. This year, the whole family sported their inner super hero for this very special occasion! Even little Evan showed off his batman onesie.
Uncle Jody was worn out after being attacked by four five-year-old superheros! Also, the Spiderman masks were a hit.
looks like you guys had a blast! we have got to get our boys together! maybe we can make a zoo trip this spring/summer! i would love to get to see you! love you!
