Family, Fun, and Complete Exhaustion!!!

So, over the last 10 days we were lucky enough to have a couple of rounds of company come to visit us. Gary's parents and his brother's family came over Martin Luther King weekend. We had a wonderful visit with everyone, and all of them seemed to enjoy meeting Evan and seeing Alex. Alex had the most wonderful time with his cousins, Bayleigh (9) and Cole (7).

A few days after the Burlings left, my cousin Whitney and her family came to visit for a couple days. Once again, Alex was completely entertained by his cousins, Josh (4) and Lainey (1). Alex and Josh played lots of superheros and played outside in the 80 degree weather! Yes, 80 degrees. As I sit here writing this it is 19 degrees and sleeting outside. What a difference four or five days makes in West Texas!

After the Flowers left, my parents came for the weekend. I was really excited for them to see Evan because he has really grown. We enjoyed a nice quiet weekend at the house with them. Needless to say, we are still recuperating from all of our company, but it was so much fun to get to see everyone and introduce Evan to all of them!

Alex or Evan???

So, Gary and I have had several people ask us, "does Evan look like Alex," or they have made the statement that "Evan looks exactly like Alex." I personally think that you can tell that my handsome boys are brothers but do not think they look exactly alike. However, I will let you form your own opinion.
